Mr. Tyler Derickson

Tyler Derickson is a cybersecurity professional with experience in IT project management, technical configurations, and incident response. He has the ability to analyze complex environments and deliver tailored solutions that strengthen security and performance. Tyler believes that strong IT and network infrastructure forms the foundation of any successful organization—whether a business, school, or institution—and that protecting these environments is essential to safeguarding data and building trust. He is currently pursuing his MS in Cybersecurity Risk Management at Indiana University. This multidisciplinary program—offered through the Kelley School of Business, the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, and the Maurer School of Law—provides a deep understanding of cybersecurity from business, technical, and legal perspectives. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Governors State University and maintains many active industry certifications from CompTIA, ISC2, Cisco, Microsoft, and Lean Six Sigma.
