Suzette is a Senior Learning Leader with an extensive background in science and STEM. She has spent 23 years as a middle school science educator and STEM Coordinator in Jacksonville, Florida. During this time she received her masters in Curriculum and instruction for STEM, as well as a STEM Leadership Certificate through the NASA Endeavor program. Suzette was instrumental in the development of the programs and projects that led to her school’s accreditation in STREAM (the first in the state of Florida). Suzette is passionate about STEM education and believes that hands on integrated learning experiences can spark a child’s love for learning and create lifelong learners. She believes that empowering educators with the knowledge and skills to infuse STEM into their teaching will change the face and the future of education.
