Reese Wieder

Reese Wieder is a high school junior at Longmont High School in the St. Vrain Valley School District and a UAS pilot and project manager for the Innovation Center’s Drone Performance Team. She earned her FAA Part 107 certification at age 14 and is one of the first female—and the youngest—pilots on the Firefly Drone Systems platform. Reese is grateful for the opportunity to share how real-world, student-led learning through drone performance can empower educators and students.
