Mr. Omar Cortez

Omar Cortez is an educator and robotics instructor with a passion for hands-on STEM learning. With experience teaching VEX GO, IQ, EXP, and V5 platforms, Omar specializes in guiding students and fellow teachers through the exciting world of robotics and engineering. He focuses on creating accessible, practical curricula that empower schools to successfully integrate robotics into their classrooms. Omar also has experience with educational drones and is developing resources to make drone technology more approachable for beginners. When not teaching, he is committed to supporting teachers with tools, strategies, and encouragement to confidently lead STEM programs.
