Dr. Miller is completing his 39th year in public education and serves as the Superintendent of Antwerp Local Schools in Ohio. This past summer, Dr. Miller was selected as the National Educator of the Year by Age of Learning and was also awarded the Ohio Superintendent of Excellence Award by the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation. Additionally, he was selected as a Finalist for the Ohio Outstanding Superintendent Award by the MHJ Foundation in 2022 and 2023. He is also a two-time finalist for the Tech and Learning Innovative Leader Award. In recent years, his school has earned the U.S. News and World Report ranking of Best Schools in America. Dr. Miller has on three occasions participated in China Bridge Delegation for the purpose of studying the Chinese educational system. During his tenure, Dr. Miller was the recipient of the BASA Global Leaders’ Summit scholarship that afforded him the opportunity to visit Finland and study their educational system and the Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund scholarship allotting him the opportunity to study the Japanese educational system. Through his travels, Dr. Miller has sat in classrooms in fourteen countries, on four continents. Dr. Miller has also served as a presenter for the past four years at the FETC and AASA National Conferences.
