Kenneth Bouwens is the Director of CTE/STEAM & Innovation for Louisa County Public Schools in Virginia, where he leads division-wide efforts impacting over 5,000 students through strategic innovation, instructional design, and future-focused workforce development. A former Technology Education teacher and the 2016 Virginia Technology & Engineering Education Teacher of the Year, Kenneth brings deep classroom experience to his system-level leadership. He has launched award-winning programs such as the Little Lions Learning Lab and Wireless on Wheels, and was a national finalist in the U.S. Department of Education’s Rural Tech Project for his work in expanding access to cybersecurity education. Kenneth recently led the planning and funding of a $33 million, 55,000 sq. ft. CTE facility and has developed scalable AI-powered tools to support teachers in lesson planning, feedback, and instructional efficiency. Recognized as a speaker, builder, and strategic thinker, Kenneth is passionate about designing programs, spaces, and systems that drive meaningful outcomes for both educators and students.
