Mr. Julius Edwards

Julius Edwards is an award-winning educator and visionary leader dedicated to empowering students through technology and esports. As the 2024 K–12 Scholastic Esports Coach of the Year, he leads Palm Beach Lakes High School’s Esports Academy, preparing students for success in both higher education and the digital workforce. Through his leadership, Julius has dramatically increased student engagement, creating safe, inclusive spaces where students—especially those who may not typically participate in extracurricular activities—can connect, thrive, and discover new opportunities. By seamlessly integrating STEM and esports, he ensures students are not only immersed in gaming but are also introduced to career pathways in broadcasting, graphic design, cyber security, engineering, and digital content creation. Julius is the Vice President of SSEL (Sunshine State Esports League) and a 2025 FETC Featured Speaker, where he shared insights on building inclusive, future-ready learning environments. He was named a 2023 Full Sail University Extraordinary Educator and serves as a NASEF Scholastic Esports Mentor, supporting educators nationwide in integrating esports into purposeful instruction. He is also a proud member of Leadership Florida Education Class 8, a network of changemakers dedicated to transforming education in Florida. Furthermore, he is the CEO of Infusing Education and Consulting, LLC and a founding member of L.I.T.E.S. (Literacy Infused Technology Educational Support, INC), a nonprofit focused on bridging literacy and technology in underserved communities.
