Ms. Iva Petrosino

Iva Petrosino, APR is the executive director of communications and community engagement for the Gates Chili Central School District. A former television journalist, Petrosino began her career at WWBT-TV in Richmond, Virginia, and WHAM-TV in Rochester, New York, before transitioning to school public relations. She is an active leader and mentor within the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) and New York School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA), and currently serves as APR/Ethics Chair for the Rochester Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Petrosino is also a past president of the Greater Rochester Professional School Communicators (GRPSC). She has earned more than 30 communications awards and was recognized as one of NSPRA’s 35 Under 35 in 2023. Petrosino holds a B.S. in Mass Communication from Virginia Commonwealth University and the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR).
