Mr. David Moura

In four years as UHS Dean of Students and Internship Coordinator, Mr. Moura has helped place nearly 80% of each senior class in workplace related experiences connected to their post-secondary plans. He has served as a Massachusetts Innovation Career Pathway Ambassador, providing resources and counsel to districts not only across the Commonwealth but in partnership with programs around the nation. Mr. Moura instituted a durable skills "bootcamp" model in which students work collaboratively to improve a set of discrete skills as identified by workforce partners as requisite needs. He is also a past president of the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association, and he has served as a coach of football, hockey, and track and field for the past thirty years.
