I started working for Gwinnett County Public Schools 1999 as a Special Education Teacher. I’ve been in the education profession for 28 years. I’ve spent 12 years as a classroom teacher and 16 years in administration. I’ve been the Principal of Lanier High School in Sugar Hill, GA, for seven years. I am the father of two beautiful young boys attending Gwinnett County Public Schools. I graduated from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA, with my bachelor’s and master’s Degrees. I received my Ph.D. from The University of Georgia in 2006.
I genuinely believe it’s an honor and a privilege to serve as the Principal of Lanier High School. I am committed to high-quality academic achievement for all students here at Lanier High School. College and Career Readiness is a driving force behind helping our students reach their goals and positively impact their community. I strive for our students to become world-class citizens who are prepared for post-secondary education and the global workforce. I empower our students to Learn, Lead, and Succeed in everything they accomplish and strive to achieve.
