Mrs. Christina Kilmer

Christina Kilmer is a Math Teacher at Lockport Township High School and the Assistant Director of the school’s Drama Club. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Lewis University with a theatre minor, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Delaware. As an inaugural member of her school’s AI Research Group, Christina is well-versed in prompting and has created practical, classroom-ready AI tools to support both instruction and student learning. She is currently developing an Introduction to Data Science course with a strong emphasis on real-world applications and ethical use of AI by students in the classroom. Christina is passionate about making math meaningful, accessible, and engaging; she often weaves her own interests into her teaching. Whether it’s incorporating sports analytics as an avid Chicago Cubs fan, or using music trends as a proud Swiftie, she finds creative ways to connect with students. Her work reflects a commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and joy in the classroom.
