Cheryl Miyake

Cheryl is a passionate accessibility advocate, dedicated to ensuring that every learner is empowered to access, engage with, and share their learning journey in their preferred way. Currently as the Curriculum Operations Manager at Seesaw, she collaborates with Curriculum and Product teams to develop features and engaging, accessible, culturally relevant lessons rich with multimodal ways for students to express themselves. Prior to Seesaw, Cheryl taught 4th grade in the multicultural, multilingual San Francisco Bay Area. She leveraged technology to empower all students to not only access and consume media, but also create and communicate their creative ideas and thought processes.
