Mrs. Barbara Bray

Barbara is a transformational coach, author, speaker, mentor, and podcast host dedicated to helping people live and learn on purpose. With over 30 years in education, she’s passionate about making learning authentic, meaningful, and relevant. She is the past owner/founder of My eCoach, past co-founder of Personalize Learning, LLC, and co-author of Make Learning Personal and How to Personalize Learning. In 2017, she launched the Rethinking Learning podcast to explore identity, purpose, and humanity through powerful stories, leading to her book Define Your Why: Own Your Story So You Can Live and Learn on Purpose. Barbara also co-hosts Real Talk with Barbara and Nicole, a podcast on authenticity in a polarized world. Her latest self-published book, Grow Your Why: One Story at a Time, features 23 inspiring stories from educators, entrepreneurs, and innovators about living with purpose. Each author also narrated their chapter for the audiobook. Barbara’s current work focuses on learner agency, advocacy, the WHY, and developing human skills for a rapidly changing AI world. Through her new platform, Why Press Publishing, she serves as a Story Weaver—supporting aspiring writers, speakers, and podcasters in finding their voice and sharing their story.
