Mr. Adam West

Adam West is a Future Ready VITAL Instructional Leader with 28 years of teaching experience within the Putnam County School System. He holds a Master's Degree in Education and has played a key role in teaching and developing the Personal Finance Certification Course for his district. He has experience teaching Special Education, Health, Wellness, and Math. For the last 14 years, he has been involved with the VITAL program, where he has instructed online courses in Math, Health, Physical Education, and Personal Finance, all while obtaining CTE industry certification. In addition to his role as an adjunct faculty member at Tennessee Technological University, he creates engaging online curricula and acts as an EdTech tools coach for his school district. Adam thrives in the online environment and appreciates the opportunities it offers for growth. He believes that online learning can create equitable access to coursework for all students, regardless of their location or circumstances. His passion lies in leveraging technology to support student learning and development.
