Authentic communication and collective reasoning are vital in today's classrooms, yet increasingly difficult to cultivate. The shift from group work to teamwork doesn't happen by accident. It requires intentional structure, clear roles and daily practice that builds trust over time. In this workshop, explore practical structures and strategies from Transforming Classrooms: Building a Culture of Collaboration to create an environment where every student is an active, essential team member. Learn what distinguishes cooperative learning from traditional group work, the five research-based pillars of cooperative learning, how to form and sustain heterogeneous teams and assign and rotate meaningful roles, and how to use the QUEST framework to guide deep collaborative inquiry with AI. Explore tools for fairly assessing both individual and collective growth. Leave with a first-ten-days rollout plan for any grade level or content area, and get the book, with role cards, rubrics, lesson structures and troubleshooting guidance for every step of implementation. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
