Forget the stoplight system. AI is not a traffic violation; it is an ingredient in your educational kitchen, and the secret ingredient is the learning itself. In this workshop, you will experience Chopped: AI Stars, 2nd Edition from the student perspective, facing a timed challenge with a mystery basket and a curated AI pantry that must be used with intention and purpose. Just as a chef balances ingredients, you will balance AI assistance with human creativity, building real AI literacy skills along the way. You will learn to explain the menu analogy as a framework for balanced classroom AI use, facilitate your own Chopped: AI Stars challenge, design an AI pantry that teaches students proper and intentional AI use while supporting assessment integrity, and guide student reflection on human-AI collaboration with recipe cards. Walk away with a complete, ready-to-use lesson plan and everything you need to run it the very next day. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
