Every superintendent has sat in a cabinet meeting and wondered: do we have the right people at this table? Too often, technology leadership is relegated to infrastructure support rather than elevated as a strategic imperative, widening the gap between digital promise and classroom impact. This workshop offers a candid conversation for superintendents, technology directors and cabinet leaders about who belongs at the executive table and what earning that seat requires. Explore the competencies and educational insight a technology leader needs to drive cabinet-level decisions, the cost of siloed leadership and how to audit organizational structures to close communication gaps between decision-makers and those who deploy technology. Learn how to rewrite technology director job descriptions around strategic alignment, build reporting that translates technical milestones into educational outcomes like equity, access and engagement, and bring tech leaders into the earliest phases of strategic and curriculum planning. The seat matters, but earning it matters more. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
