Library Leaders
As artificial intelligence reshapes how information is created, accessed and trusted, school librarians are uniquely positioned to lead the shift from information literacy to AI literacy. This interactive workshop challenges library leaders to rethink how they design learning experiences for staff and students, moving beyond tools toward intentional, human-centered practices. You will explore the Human-Centered AI Competency Roadmap, a framework that prioritizes critical thinking, ethical use and learner agency, and engage with the AI Balance Continuum to decide when AI enhances learning and when it detracts. The FLUFF Test for AI Interactions gives you a practical strategy for evaluating AI-generated content with clarity and confidence. You will also be introduced to the Four C's for Emerging Adult Learners in an Age of AI, a new lens for designing relevant, responsive professional learning. Leave with actionable tools, fresh perspectives and a renewed vision for positioning the library as a hub for AI literacy, instructional leadership and future-ready learning. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
