You Ran the Survey. Now What? A Human-Centered Approach to Translating Feedback into Retention

District Leaders
You sent the engagement survey, got the results, and then nothing changed. Sound familiar? In many districts, staff engagement and intent-to-return survey data is reviewed once, summarized and shelved, while teachers leave. The gap between collecting feedback and acting on it isn't a data problem; it's a systems problem, and for educators from historically marginalized communities it has real equity consequences. This workshop offers HR professionals and district leaders a practical playbook for closing the loop between staff voice and organizational action. You will explore a three-stage process: interpreting survey data through an equity lens, including whose voices are obscured in aggregate results, using facilitated conversations to deepen what the numbers surface, and co-constructing retention action plans with staff and building leaders. Drawing on implementation at Hartford Public Schools, you will leave with an interpretation framework, a conversation protocol, a leader engagement structure and strategies for sustaining voice loops, with no specialized software required. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
