What if students learned math concepts by programming robots? This hands-on workshop shows how coding and robotics can transform mathematics learning from TK through grade 12. You will explore classroom-ready activities from the UC Davis C-STEM Math-ICT curriculum that help students learn mathematical concepts through programming and robotics. Engage in standards-aligned lessons that strengthen problem-solving, computational thinking and mathematical reasoning while increasing student engagement and confidence. Examples spanning elementary through high school demonstrate how coding and robotics can support core instruction, intervention and enrichment, and how activities connect mathematics with real-world applications and STEM learning. You will leave with practical lesson ideas, curriculum resources and implementation strategies you can apply immediately in your classroom, school or district to improve mathematics achievement and expand STEM learning opportunities. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
