How do you create STEAM experiences that move beyond one-time activities and become meaningful learning throughout the year? In this highly interactive workshop, educators, program leaders and enrichment providers rotate through hands-on STEAM stations designed for PreK-8 learners, building, coding, testing, designing and problem-solving with robotics, drones, engineering and computational thinking. After experiencing each station from a student perspective, you will unpack the instructional strategies and facilitation techniques that drive engagement, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking and that turn exciting activities into meaningful learning outcomes. Discussion focuses on adapting activities for different grade levels, learning environments and student needs while maintaining accessibility and excitement, and on supporting educators with varying levels of experience. Designed for classrooms, makerspaces, after-school programs and summer learning, the workshop sends you home with ready-to-use station-based activities, implementation strategies and a framework for delivering joyful, sustainable, high-impact STEAM programming that inspires curiosity and builds future-ready skills. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
