Why do some professional learning communities become a found family while others fade away as soon as the event ends? This high-energy, hands-on session explores how identity, belonging and community can transform professional learning, drawing on lessons from building and sustaining EduGuardians, a growing educator community guided by the motto Unite to Ignite Learning. Using AI prompts, Canva templates and Book Creator, you will create your own EduGuardian identity, discover your educator superpowers, build a personalized Superhero Trading Card, and connect with fellow educators through activities designed to move beyond surface-level networking. Along the way, we will explore the brain science behind belonging, connection and social learning. Expect music, movement, trading cards and meaningful conversations. You will leave with new connections plus templates, activities, conversation structures and a framework you can adapt for your own school, PLC, district or educator group.
