Designing Impactful PD with a Collaborative Blueprint

Tired of one-size-fits-all professional development that leaves teachers checking the clock? It is time to flip the script. This interactive workshop equips educational leaders, instructional coaches and teachers with a comprehensive framework for designing PD that actually sticks. You will walk through the full lifecycle of effective professional learning: building an accurate needs assessment, intentionally planning and facilitating the learning, and measuring impact. Moving beyond theory, you will spend time drafting ideas, outcomes and your own PD materials. You will learn to design a targeted needs assessment that surfaces your staff's authentic, urgent needs and to structure an engaging facilitation plan grounded in adult learning principles. Along the way, participants contribute ideas and resources to a living, collaborative repository of PD schedules, templates and protocols that is curated and shared with everyone, so you leave with a crowdsourced toolkit of ready-to-use materials to put to work immediately in your school or district. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
