CTE Leaders
Schools are adopting AI quickly, yet many still struggle to move from unstructured use to meaningful impact on student learning. This round table discussion explores how one digital learning program integrates AI in purposeful, student-centered ways to support writing, engagement and career exploration at scale. Participants will discuss how AI can act as a scaffold within courses, guiding students through the writing process, offering on-demand support and extending learning beyond course requirements. Examples include an AI-powered Writing Center that supports students through each stage of writing, including emerging supports for those who need additional scaffolding, and tools that promote reflection and career exploration. The conversation covers aligning AI use with instructional goals, establishing guardrails, supporting diverse learners and implementing supports within existing courses or as standalone resources without increasing staff workload. You will leave with practical strategies, lessons learned and key considerations for scaling AI across classrooms, schools or districts while maintaining strong instructional design.
