Classroom Leaders
Computational thinking is the foundation for learning and engaging in computer science, and you do not need to be a coder to bring it into your elementary classroom. Designed for K-5 classroom teachers, this workshop breaks down the key aspects of computational thinking and explains how each one builds students' problem-solving abilities. You will explore what computational thinking looks like in practice and experience classroom activities you can use with your students to sharpen these skills. You will leave with a clear understanding of the core aspects of computational thinking and a set of practical activities ready to engage your students and lay the groundwork for future computer science learning. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
