As AI reshapes classrooms, instructional coaches face teachers who resist it, rely on it too heavily or use it in ways that limit student thinking. This hands-on workshop equips coaches with a practical framework for leading trust-centered coaching conversations in the AI era while keeping the focus on rigor and student thinking rather than tool use. You will learn how to assess teacher readiness, respond to common challenges and use high-impact coaching language and questioning strategies that build trust and drive instructional change. Through real-world scenarios and guided practice, you will develop approaches for coaching teachers across the full range of AI use. You will also explore targeted ways AI can support coaching efficiency, such as generating reflective questions and analyzing tasks for rigor, without losing the human element. You will leave with a repeatable framework and ready-to-use language stems for coaching cycles, observations, PLCs and team meetings that require no additional resources. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
