Classroom Leaders
What happens when students are trusted with real responsibility instead of simulated learning? This session shares a model in which students build and run real businesses as a pathway to developing leadership, financial literacy and confidence. Grounded in social-emotional learning and experiential education, the approach moves beyond theory into real-world application. Through case studies, student outcomes and simple frameworks, you will explore how to bring entrepreneurship-based learning into classrooms, afterschool programs and community partnerships without adding overwhelm to existing systems. Learn a flexible model that moves students from idea to execution, including how to structure a project, guide without taking over and create space for genuine decision-making, problem-solving and communication. Implementation can start small with one project, one classroom marketplace or one student idea, then grow into larger initiatives. You will leave with actionable strategies, adaptable lesson structures and a fresh lens on what students are capable of right now.
