Esports Leaders
You do not need a massive budget or cutting-edge network infrastructure to give middle schoolers a full varsity esports experience. This workshop shares the framework behind a completely free, statewide middle school esports league designed from the ground up for equity. Explore how the model navigates strict district firewalls and zero-dollar budgets so that low-income and rural schools have a viable, competitive pathway to the live state championship. You will learn the exact mechanics of structuring and running a zero-cost program, including how to manage dual online and offline tournament tracks during the regular season to accommodate varying school bandwidth. To help you get started right away, you will get access to a digital resource folder with active tournament templates, official middle school rules, student codes of conduct and a new-school checklist, so you can confidently launch or scale an equitable esports program in your own district or state. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
