What if every student could design a space where someone feels seen, valued and supported? In this rapid-prototyping Mobile Mega Share, you will design Little Landmarks and Tiny Homes inspired by real community needs, using simple, widely available craft materials. Experience a flexible project with multiple entry points, including drafting, hands-on modeling, storytelling, research and varied presentation options. Discover how community-centered design sparks conversations about people, place, culture, sustainability and belonging while driving standards-aligned learning, from literature and imaginative storytelling for younger learners to community research, data collection, digital design and evidence-based problem-solving for older students. Explore extensions across math, life science, environmental science, technology, robotics, coding and 3D printing. You will leave with a model to share, project templates, classroom-ready resources and a clear pathway for turning lessons you already teach into hands-on, high-engagement design challenges for classrooms, makerspaces, STEM labs and library media centers.
