In a world of passive consumption, how do we move from using tech to do old things to using tech to create new worlds? Designed specifically for K-5, this session goes beyond digital worksheets to show how young students can use a professional toolkit, including Canva, Adobe Express, Tinkercad and Book Creator, to build high-level digital products. Explore a Product-First framework for elementary technology integration through real examples, from 3D-designed prototypes to AI-narrated digital books and interactive portfolios, and learn which products are developmentally appropriate for each grade level. Discover strategies for coaching young learners through the messy middle of troubleshooting and iteration, building resilience alongside tech skills, plus methods for using AI to differentiate instructions and provide captions and translations so every student can produce professional-grade work. Leave with a curated Digital Product Menu mapped to core standards that lets you swap worksheets for multimedia projects immediately. Teachers gain confidence facilitating creation time, and coaches gain a blueprint for scaling these strategies across a campus or district.
