Many conversations about AI focus on screen time, cell phones and blocking access. But banning AI doesn't prepare students for the future. This workshop helps you move beyond asking whether students should use AI to asking how to design learning experiences where AI supports deeper thinking rather than replacing it. Explore instructional strategies that help students use AI for brainstorming, feedback, revision, perspective-taking, creativity and problem-solving while still requiring evidence of their own thinking. Learn how to design AI-ready learning that promotes critical thinking, academic integrity, reflection and responsible use, helping students understand AI, question it and recognize when human thinking matters most. You will leave with classroom-ready examples, prompt ideas, student reflection questions and assignment redesign strategies adaptable across grade levels and content areas, so all students can adapt to a changing world of technology and workplace demands. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
