School Leaders
School culture is often left to chance or to the sheer force of a leader's personality. That heroic leadership model is unsustainable, leading to burnout and lost institutional memory during transitions. This interactive workshop treats belonging as a formal design challenge. Using the Igniting Innovation Design Framework, you will audit your current leadership structures, from feedback loops to transition protocols, and identify energy leaks where systems unintentionally create friction or exclusion. You will conduct a friction audit of a specific system such as hiring, faculty meetings or evaluation to pinpoint two points of systemic friction for diverse staff. Then you will map relational infrastructure by drafting a communication or feedback protocol that prioritizes psychological safety and transparency, and prototype a transition blueprint for a mid-level leadership role so values and diversity goals survive personnel changes. You will leave with a practical blueprint for keeping teams engaged, inclusive and values-aligned regardless of leadership turnover. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
