As artificial intelligence rapidly enters classrooms, many educators are asking whether technology will increase burnout or help them reclaim balance, creativity and joy. This workshop brings mindfulness to AI through the Five Yamas, the ethical foundations of yoga philosophy, and applies them to the amazing, exhausting work teachers do every day. Through practical examples using tools such as Google Gemini, ChatGPT, SchoolAI, Google Classroom, NotebookLM, Brisk Teaching and Knowt, discover how AI can reduce planning and grading overload, streamline differentiation, generate meaningful feedback and simplify everyday classroom tasks. Rather than replacing great teaching, this mindful approach positions AI as a tool for removing unnecessary burden so teachers can refocus on meaningful student connection. You will leave with immediately applicable workflows and mindful implementation strategies designed to help you reclaim time, reduce burnout, support work-life balance and restore joy to your teaching. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
