Educators are not just overloaded; they are cognitively overloaded. Between constant interruptions, endless emails, scattered resources, meetings that could have been an email and more than 1,500 decisions a day, many are exhausted before lunch. This Brain Gym session explores how AI can help reduce the mental clutter pulling educators away from students. Rooted in productivity research and brain science on attention, cognitive load and decision fatigue, it examines why so many school systems and daily routines leave educators drained. Going beyond write me a lesson plan, the session focuses on the everyday tasks that slowly drain time and energy, including email, meetings, communication, organization, finding information and repetitive work. Through relatable examples, honest conversation and quick demos, discover small workflow shifts and smarter systems drawn from efficiency practices tried in different organizations. Classroom teachers, coaches, school leaders and administrators will leave with practical ideas, examples and prompts they can adapt tomorrow to lighten their mental load without losing the human side of teaching and leadership.
