AI is already part of how students research, read and write, raising new questions about authorship, credibility and what learning really looks like. This workshop helps educators make sense of that shift across three areas of the student experience: research, literacy and assessment. You will explore how AI works as both a research assistant and a literacy tool, shaping how students gather information, generate ideas and compose texts. Then you will tackle the assessment challenge head-on, looking at strategies that move beyond AI detection toward meaningful, process-oriented evaluation. Practical examples and adaptable assignments ground every part of the workshop, showing how to align pedagogy with emerging technology while keeping rigor, transparency and student agency intact. You will leave with ready-to-adapt tools for integrating AI into your teaching in ways that promote critical thinking, ethical use and authentic learning. All workshops are BYOD and require All Access or Session + Registration to attend.
