As AI becomes woven into education and society, students need AI literacy skills built within authentic, discipline-specific contexts. This interactive Mobile Mega Share gives STEM educators practical tools, resources and strategies for ethically integrating AI literacy into their classrooms. Explore math, coding and makerspace modules spanning Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry and introductory Python programming, with real-world activities on topics such as the impact of AI-generated music on artist royalties, bias in loan allocation data and safety and privacy in AI use. Examine critical dimensions of AI literacy, including bias in data and AI outputs, effective prompt engineering, questions of ownership through Locke's Doctrine of Making, and the ethical, educational and environmental implications of AI. Then collaborate with peers to design, share and get feedback on AI literacy activities you can adapt for your own courses, reinforcing meaningful STEM learning while helping students use AI responsibly.
