Teaching the 4Cs Explicitly: A Framework for the AI Era

Students are using AI everywhere, and many teachers are noticing that student thinking is suffering for it. Essays are polished but generic, discussions feel thinner, and personal reflections sound like they came from somewhere else. This session is not about whether to allow AI. The 4Cs of communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity used to develop through good instruction without much fuss, but that is no longer happening on its own. If we want students to keep these skills, we have to teach and model them explicitly. Explore a framework for doing exactly that in an AI-saturated learning environment.
