This hands-on workshop puts a research-grounded, three-tier AI Literacy Framework of Awareness, Application and Advocacy into action, moving educators from passive observers to confident, equity-conscious instructional designers. Guided by a standards-aligned design rubric, real classroom examples and peer feedback, you will build an AI-integrated lesson portfolio during the session. Special attention goes to equity-centered prompt design for linguistically diverse learners, including English learners in high-EL and border community contexts. Learn to evaluate AI-generated content for bias and cultural responsiveness and to build lessons that are standards-aligned, not just AI-assisted. Leave with a completed lesson ready for the next school day and a 90-day rollout plan for scaling AI literacy across your campus or department.
