Graphic novels are a powerful way to engage students in content, and creating them no longer requires artistic talent. In this hands-on session, you will explore a creative workflow that uses Gemini and NotebookLM to turn simple ideas into professional-looking graphic novels on any subject for any grade level. After viewing finished examples, you will walk through the entire process: brainstorming a topic, selecting an art style and generating a formatted script with a custom Gemini Gem. You will also learn how to write scripts manually for staff and students who want total creative control. Finally, you will use NotebookLM to generate the full-color graphic novel as a downloadable PDF, edit the final product as needed and explore multiple options for sharing it. Leave ready to create engaging graphic novels for your students or to guide students in telling their own stories.
