AI Like a Pro: Build Better, Use Less

AI can accelerate extraordinary work, or flood schools with shallow work-slop. In this hands-on workshop, you will move beyond basic prompting and learn to use AI as a professional design partner for creating high-value educational products, including LMS pages, web resources, app prototypes, evaluation tools, instructional supports and administrative workflows. Practice smart prompting, metaprompting, iterative refinement and human-in-the-loop quality control, and learn to evaluate AI-generated products for usefulness, accuracy, scalability and polish. Apply a responsible-use framework that addresses privacy, bias, environmental impact, human oversight, accessibility and instructional value, and discover how planning better and prompting smarter can reduce unnecessary AI use. You will leave with a reusable AI product-development workflow, prompt templates, evaluation criteria and at least one prototype or product concept to adapt for your school, district, classroom or role.
