Victor G Hicks is the Founder and Lead Instructor of Coding with Culture, a nationally recognized STEM and computer science program committed to building a K–HBCU pipeline in tech education. Based in Atlanta, Victor integrates culturally responsive pedagogy, HBCU heritage, and design thinking into real-world tech experiences for students and teachers. He has presented at national conferences including ISTE, CSTA, and WeTeach_CS, and is a featured thought leader on culturally grounded STEM innovation. A proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University, Victor brings over 20 years of education experience and a deep commitment to creating pathways of brilliance for Black and Brown learners across the country. He also serves on the board of Tapestry Charter and Decatur Makers, where he chairs the Academic Excellence and Youth Outreach Committees, respectively. Victor is also a CSTA Equity Fellow alumnus, as he continues to work globally to expand access to inclusive computer science education.
