Mrs. Tracie DeRosa is the Director of Curriculum at Comsewogue School District, where she has served for the past two years. In this role, she oversees K-12 math and science curriculum development, utilizing data-driven instruction to enhance student learning outcomes. DeRosa is a passionate advocate for inquiry-based learning and leads professional development initiatives to equip teachers with effective strategies aligned with the Next Generation Learning Standards. Prior to her current position, Mrs. DeRosa garnered extensive experience as a science teacher for 13 years. During her teaching career, she served as a Science Olympiad Coach and Science Quiz Bowl Coach, inspiring students to explore their curiosity and love for science. Mrs. DeRosa is also a trained Smart Start for Computer Science educator, championing STEM education and promoting computational thinking skills.
