Toby is an innovative educational leader from central Ohio whose personal mission is to help all learners find their path. In his 28 years in education, he has worked as a high school Math Teacher, Instructional and Technology Coach, high school Assistant Principal, middle school Principal, Coordinator of Career Services, and Teacher Preparation Instructor. He is also an Educational Technology Professor at Otterbein University. Toby has keynoted and facilitated professional learning on topics ranging from technology integration, AI, leadership, skills attainment, career exploration and awareness, design, and personalized learning. He is the co-founder of Edcamp Columbus and FReD talks. He is currently working on his doctorate at Miami University. His research is focused on the impact career exploration has on the academic success of middle school students.
