Dr. Tim Sparbanie is a visionary leader in education with over 25 years of experience, including 14 years in administrative roles across diverse school settings. As the founding principal of Elaine Thompson Elementary, he successfully managed the school's opening, from hiring the entire staff to establishing operational systems. Under his leadership, the school, serving 1,030 students and employing 140 staff members, has become one of the highest-achieving institutions in Virginia.
Dr. Sparbanie holds a Doctorate in Leadership from the American College of Education and is a recognized author and podcaster. His work focuses on leadership, teaching and learning, student achievement, school culture, and collective teacher efficacy. He has been honored with the 2024 "Outstanding Inclusive Administrator" award by the Loudoun County Special Education Advisory Committee for his exceptional support of special education.
