Tambra Clark is an innovative educational technology leader and Apple Distinguished Educator committed to transforming technology initiatives into district-wide excellence. Currently serving as Library/Media Specialist and Technology Leader at Birmingham City Schools' South Hampton School, she spearheads technology integration into K-8 curricula and oversees "Bulldog Talk on the Edge," a student-led podcast empowering middle school students with digital media skills.
A doctoral student in Education and Organizational Leadership at Samford University, Tambra holds master's degrees in Library Media Education and Curriculum and Instruction of Technology from Alabama State University and Grand Canyon University.
As Board Member of the Homewood Library Foundation, she advocates for community outreach initiatives and literacy programs. Tambra actively participates in Birmingham Women in Technology, mentoring young women pursuing STEM careers.
Her leadership extends to the MOMENTUM WORKS Leadership Development Program and CSTA Pre-service Teacher Leader Mentorship.
Tambra's accolades include winning the ALTEC Challenge $10,000 PITCH competition and Samsung Solve for Tomorrow State Winner award. She was recognized as a Miles College 50 Under 50 Recipient for outstanding professional achievements and community contributions.
She regularly presents at national conferences, including Teachers Empowering Teachers and the National Science Teacher Association events.
