Dr. Sue Bedard is an innovative educator and digital learning strategist with over 30 years of experience in K–12 and higher education. She earned her doctoral degree in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University, focusing on leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes.
In 2016, Dr. Bedard founded a STEM enrichment program designed to provide personalized, hands-on learning experiences. This initiative has evolved to serve a diverse student population, including homeschoolers, by emphasizing individualized learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs and abilities.
Dr. Bedard is also the founder of iBuild Academy, a private STEM-focused school that integrates technology and project-based learning to prepare students for the challenges of the digital age.
In addition to her work in K–12 education, Dr. Bedard serves as a visiting professor in the Applied Digital Learning Master's program at Lamar University. Her courses emphasize the development of significant learning environments and the application of constructivist theories to create meaningful educational experiences.
Through her multifaceted roles, Dr. Bedard continues to advocate for educational reform that embraces technology, personalization, and inclusivity to better serve all learners.
