Mrs. Sonise Benedict

Sonise Benedict, M.Ed., is a certified reading and English educator with endorsements in ESOL and Reading. She currently teaches at Coral Springs Middle School and serves as an adjunct professor at Broward College. Fluent in English, Haitian Creole, and French, Sonise brings a multicultural lens to literacy development and educational technology. She has created Edpuzzle content aligned to Florida B.E.S.T. standards, with over 100,000 educators using her resources nationwide. Sonise is also the founder of Benedict Learning LLC, where she leads literacy-focused coaching and support services for multilingual learners and struggling readers. A passionate advocate for equity and engagement, she empowers teachers through tech-based instructional strategies using tools like Read180 and Edpuzzle. Sonise is currently pursuing leadership certification to expand her impact and support educators in building inclusive, student-centered classrooms.
