Mr. Dewayne McClary

Dewayne J. McClary is an education leader with nearly 20 years of experience dedicated to equity and excellence in K-12 learning. He currently serves as Deputy Superintendent of Innovation, Student Pathways, & Opportunities for the State of Virgnia and previously served as Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships at engage2learn, Director of Educational Technology and Library Programs at D.C. Public Schools, and Director of the League of Innovative Schools at Digital Promise. He holds a B.S. in Political Science from Francis Marion University and an Executive Master's in Leadership from Georgetown University edWeb. A passionate advocate for digital equity, McClary has been recognized as a top visionary and influencer in education technology, guided by his mantra: "Doing Right By Students Every Day."
