Dr. Michael Gaskell

Dr. Michael Gaskell, an esteemed author, speaker, and principal in East Brunswick, is dedicated to lifelong learning and educational excellence. He mentors new principals through the New Jersey Leaders to Leaders (L2L) program and has been honored with the NJPSA Stars award. A leading voice on AI in education, Dr. Gaskell has presented on AI in the Classroom at NJPSA/FEA, Rutgers, and national conferences including Learning and the Brain, FETC, CEC, and ISTE. He has written over four dozen education articles and blogs for outlets such as ASCD Smartbrief, Tech & Learning, and Education Post, and is a regular columnist for ASCD Smartbrief. Dr. Gaskell has also shared his insights on numerous podcasts, including Larry Ferlazzo’s Education Week Classroom Q&A. He is the author of three influential books—Radical Principals, Leading Schools Through Trauma, and Microstrategy Magic—all aimed at fostering instructional excellence and student success.
