Mrs. Maria Paben is the Technology Integration Specialist for St. Martha Catholic School. She teaches middle school Technology, 8th Grade Religion, and the Robotics Elective. She attended the University of Florida, where she earned her BAE in Elementary Education and her M.Ed in Elementary Education with a specialization in Educational Technology. Most recently she completed her three year fellowship at the University of Notre Dame as a Senior Trustey Fellow, learning how to incorporate effective STEM practices into all she teaches. Over the past three years, she has been helping her school learn how to bring effective STEM education into all classrooms from P3-8th grade. Maria is in her eighteenth year of teaching while residing with her four children and husband in Sarasota, Florida.
